The Sooner Plains Chapter of the United States Army Warrant Officers Association (USAWOA) welcomes your interest in both our Chapter and the Lawton-Fort Sill area. Our chapter has been established for 36+ years! (14 August 1974). Many who come here to visit choose to remain in the area. Our Chapter represents active duty warrant officers assigned to Fort Sill, retired Chief Warrant Officers in the local Lawton area, and a number of National Guard and Army Reserve Warrants in the Oklahoma City area. Our chapter is presently going through a transition period caused by our deployment rotations to support OIF and OEF, PCS, and restructuring of the components. This website will prove to be a valuable asset for newcomers and veterans alike. We will have all events, news, and meetings posted here for your information.

Ft. Sill has been designated to expand its services for the future Artillery mission both on the ground and in the Air. The Air Defense Artillery School has been relocated to Ft.Sill, the primary purpose for the creation of the Fires Center of Excellence. The III Armored Corps Artillery boasts the largest concentration of Artillery in the world. Appreciating great weather, a friendly community, and a low cost of living, many find a new home upon arrival. Whether temporary or permanent, we hope you locate our Chapter and join our efforts. The Sooner Plains Chapter has always prided itself in contributing to the local community through volunteerism and scholarship assistance. We are in the rebuilding phase and looking for a few good men/women to support our fellow Chapter. As you relocate to Ft.Sill and if we can be of any assistance or you have any questions, please feel free to ask us. Again, WELCOME to Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, and we look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the Sooner Plains Chapter. Please see below for the next meeting! The chapter has embraced the latest technologies in an effort to maintain communications between our members around the globe. Please visit our social media links to gather additional chapter news and notes.
