On November 19, 2009, the new Kandahar Chapter President and Vice President were elected and installed.

Holiday Chapter Meeting

On 19 November 2009, the Kandarhar Chapter held their evening Holiday meal and monthly meeting. It was a huge success! There were 56 Warrant Officers and 4 guests who attended the event. AFN was there to cover the Chapter story, and will again be at our upcoming Turkey Trot 5K on Sunday, 22 November 2009. Two Navy enlisted seamen also attended that are interested in becoming Army Warrant Officers. Colonel Mann, 143rd DCO was the keynote speaker for the evening.

Trot Race/Walk 5K

The Kandahar Chapter of the Warrant Officer Association would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the support personnel, runners and walkers that participated in the Turkey Trot/Walk held on Sunday, 22 November 2009. A total of 69 Turkey Trot T-Shirts were donated towards this events with proceeds going to go to charity. The WO Chapter provided Kandahar Warrant Officer Coins for First, Second and Third places both in the mens and womens events, as while as the 5K walking event. Because of each of you it was a success!
