The United States Army Warrant Officer
Association (USAWOA) is a professional organizational formed to represent all
army warrant officers. The national organization was incorporated as a
non-profit association in Virginia on 7 November 1974. The association consists
of local chapters worldwide. These chapters provide social and professional
opportunities for its members and act as a focal point for warrant officers at
the local level to disseminate and pass on to USAWOA officials the professional
concerns of their members.
The Fort Hood Silver chapter provides a forum
for professionalism, representation and recognition for warrant officers
assigned to, and retired in, the Fort Hood military community. The chapter meets
every 3rd Thursday at 11:30 a.m. on post at the Sportsmen's Center
Grill, Rod and Gun Loop, Bldg 1937, 53rd Street and North Avenue, Fort Hood, TX.
The current president, CW4 Nicole Woodyard, invites all warrants, active duty
and retired, to come and contribute to the success of the local chapter. |
